The ‘Theodora’ room is an Ottoman inspired room. Theodora Hatun was the daugther of the Bizance Emperor VI. Kankatuzenos and also the wife of Orhan Gazi, second ‘bey’ of the nascent Ottoman Empire. The ‘Edirnekari’ headboard is from the late 17. Century.  ‘Edirnekari’ is an  art of  Ottomans, named after the city it was born,  taking aspirations from the baroque and far east style.
